Welcome to our clean, warm and inviting 2nd floor 2br/1ba condo provides additional space of an enclosed sunporch, with desk and sitting area, overlooking the front lawn. A king bed in the master make this perfect for execs in town for long stays, and a fireplace makes it warm and inviting in the winter.

This two bedroom residence is located on Queens Rd., one of the prettiest tree-lined avenues in the entire city, in the prestigious neighborhood of Myers Park, 1 mile from Uptown. Created by famous landscape architect John Nolen in 1911, Myers Park's curving avenues, gracious homes and small parks combine to create one of the South's most livable neighborhoods, a mile from Uptown.

We've maintained the character of the historic 1920's apartment building, while completely updating and renovating the interior. Stainless appliances with granite countertops, new heating and cooling systems and plumbing provide modern amenities, while the original refinished hardwoods, bathroom tile, graceful arched doorways and 2-panel doors provide the charm so often absent in new construction.

Large double-hung windows let in an abundance of light in all of the rooms, and the enclosed sunporch offers additional space for a desk and sitting area. The condo is located on the second floor with a wonderful view over the front lawn and curving Queens Rd. Off-street parking is also provided.

The galley kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, etc., a gas range with convection oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, disposal, and a stackable washer and dryer. Off of the kitchen, a dining area comfortably seats four.

In the large living room, upholstered furniture provides comfortable seating, a flatscreen television offers entertainment options, and a desk and wifi enable business travelers to work on the sunporch.

400-thread-count linens and thick Egyptian cotton towels offer all of the comforts of home, and each bedroom has a generous closet and a television. The master bedroom has a king sized bed. The 2nd room has twin beds while the living room and sunroom has sofa beds.

Wide sidewalks and towering oaks throughout the neighborhood provide an ideal place for walking or jogging, and a coffee shop, multiple restaurants (including Ethiopian, Thai, casual and fine Italian, etc.), shopping and even an independent movie theater are a half mile away. Spring through fall, a farmers market is open Wed, Fri and Sat around the corner from the apartment, and a new greenway offers a convenient connection to Freedom Park, Dilworth and Carolinas Medical Center.

Ideal for short- or long-term stays for business or pleasure, or when visiting someone at either CMC or Presbyterian Hospitals, our goal is for you to feel at home during your stay. We'll try hard to accommodate almost any special request and so are readily available should something come up.

In 1905 John Nolen, a recent Harvard graduate with a master's in landscape architecture, came to Charlotte to design Myers Park. Nolen's professor and mentor at Harvard was Fredric Law Olmsted Jr., whose father had designed Central Park in New York and the Biltmore Estate for George Vanderbilt.

Nolen designed a progressive streetcar community where all residents could walk to the streetcar lines and visitors would be able to make a loop through the neighborhood and depart where the main street would join itself. Numerous parks were interspersed along the creeks and low-lying lands.

With its blend of elegance, natural beauty, and proximity to the city's finest offerings, Myers Park is an ideal choice for a refined and memorable experience.

SouthPark Mall (Luis Vuitton, Hermes, Neiman Marcus, etc.) is less than five miles away.

The US National Whitewater Center is ~20 minutes away, offering rafting and kayaking on 'the world's largest and most complex recirculating artificial whitewater river.'

Other things to note
We are a dog friendly home, no cats are allowed in the property. 2 dogs max. Dogs must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a $50 non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
