DC’s Metro is a convenient way to get around the city. Take the train into Capitol Hill. On Sundays, sample the goods and enjoy the art at Eastern Market, the oldest continuously run farmers' market in DC. Or, if you’re feeling ambitious, get yourself to the National Mall to experience the monuments at sunrise.
