Plus all the pots, pans, tools, silverware, plates and glasses and an impressive spice collection making cooking and dining an absolute delight. Dining
Table for six, which automatically converts to a standing workstation with a hidden power outlet for your computer. Its functional, gorgeous, and a joy to eat at or work from. The view from the dining room window is filled with serine bamboo, very pleasant and calming. The TV features a Chromecast for wireless streaming from most apps. When not playing videos it shows fantastic photos from around the world, adding nice ambiance.
Living area
Thoughtfully arranged for comfort and conversation. Mid century modern furniture provides a tasteful surrounding. The wall-bed folds away to make the space feel open and spacious. Optional ambient lighting features make for a warm and cozy environment. The view from the living room couch is of the tall douglas fir trees in Washington Park, very woodsy and grand.
Music, podcasts, and radio
Masterfully restored 1936 Silvertone vacuum-tube console radio provides warm nostalgic mono sound that will move you and is completely hands-free! An Amazon Echo Input will turn it on/off and play whatever you desire. Its like having a voice commended jukebox. Separately, there is also a modern Bose WiFi stereo with AirPlay or AUX line-in connections which also sounds amazing.
Bathroom
Subway tile, great lighting, and historic charm with modern touches and hotel-grade towels. Tub/shower was recently refinished, has a removable handheld shower head, four water settings, and reliable hot water. The center pull toilet flush is fun to use and gets a lot of comments. It feels historic without sacrificing modern conveniences.
