Available 07/01/20 We have a vacancy coming up in our rental house beginning July 1. This home has always worked well for a group of friends who want to live together because of its layout and number of bedrooms. It is conveniently-located in NE Portland, close to Alberta Arts and Dekum. It has easy access to bike boulevards, public transportation and I-5.
The living quarters are spread across three levels: the top floor, main level, and finished basement. The top level has two bedrooms and one full bath with shower. It is fully carpeted. The bathroom is at the top of the stairs, with a central hallway that leads to the larger of the two bedrooms, and a smaller bedroom is located off the hallway.
The ground floor level has faux-hardwood flooring, two good sized bedrooms, and a full bathroom with tub and shower. The kitchen is clean and simple, with a big nook and pantry storage area. The rear of the kitchen has a door that leads to a stairwell down to the basement. The same stairwell can be accessed separately by an exterior door on the side of the house.
The basement is fully finished in dark wood flooring, recesses lighting, and fresh paint, with the exception of an extra storage room and the utility room with washer, dryer and furnace. The basement is comprised of common space and a private fifth bedroom with a full-size egress window and lots of natural light.
The backyard is small and easily-maintained (requirement of tenancy). There is some room for gardening, bike storage, or to sit out in the sun. There is also a shed in the backyard that could provide some additional storage, although it's not in great shape for storing anything beyond yard tools, paint, bikes, etc.
Due to the pandemic and the fact the house is occupied thru June 30, it will be difficult to arrange a showing for the next few weeks. I'm happy to answer any additional questions via email in the meantime. Thanks
