This sun drenched 1 Bed/1 Bath 990sqft apartment with dining alcove is just what you've been looking for. How often have you repeated these requests? I love the classic brownstone details but I also want a modern finishes. The new shower's are great but i also want a deep soaking bathtub. I'd love to have an open kitchen but I also want a dining area. I'd love a walk-in closet and a home office is needed as well.
THIS IS IT! The owners recently completed a full cosmetic upgrade and have done an excellent job of keeping the original details from 1900. As you enter the unit, the first thing you will notice is the original wide plank flooring and three oversized windows that offer lots of natural sunlight and overlook picturesque tree lined South Elliott Place. The stunning marble fireplace, also an original, makes for an excellent centerpiece in the living room. There is also a large alcove off of the living room which makes for the perfect dining room or home office.
Everything in the kitchen has been upgraded new stainless steel sink dishwasher, refrigerator, and stove with overhead microwave. In addition to custom cabinetry up to the ceiling and a custom pantry/storage closet, the owner also installed new granite countertop with expanded 7.5ft island for prep or informal dining.
Beyond the kitchen, and facing the gardens, you will find the master bedroom -with enough space for a king bedroom set as well as seating area. The master bedroom also boasts an original marble fireplace and a walk-in closet with stacked washer/dryer. Your ensuite windowed bathroom has a 6ft deep soaking tub plus rainfall and handheld shower. Off of your bedroom is a 22ft private terrace overlooking lovely brownstone gardens.
