We are a group of young professional guys (23-25). We have a great house on Jamestown Street just two blocks from Main Street, so it's very close to all of the nightlife and also close to the Manayunk train station. We are all working professionals. One of the guys will be moving at the end of July, so we are looking for a guy to replace him. We are looking for a young professional or grad student, and would prefer someone in our general age range (22-27).

The entire house was renovated just before we moved in, so everything is in great shape! There is a lot of original wood throughout the house, so it has a lot more character than most places in Manayunk. The downstairs of the house is fully furnished. The living room has two new sofas, coffee and end tables, and an awesome 70" flat screen tv! (Great for sports and gaming.) The dining room has a table with six chairs. The kitchen has all new appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave, along with new cabinets and countertops. The second floor of the house has two bedrooms and a large full bathroom. The third floor has three bedrooms and another large full bathroom along with the washer and dryer. All of the bedrooms have original hardwood floors along with closets and ceiling fans. There are AC units in each bedroom and on the main floor. There is a large basement which has plenty of room for storage. We also have a large paved backyard area which is great for grilling and hanging out in good weather (or bad weather...haha).

The available bedroom on the second floor. It is one of the larger rooms in the house (about 12x14). It has wood floors, a closet and ceiling fan, The room can also come furnished if you need furniture. You would share the bathroom on this floor with one other guy.

Rent for the room is $775 plus utilities. Also, we have several spaces at a parking lot one block from the house, which we can offer for $75 per month additional. Utilities are split five ways and they run about $75-100 per month per person. We know the rent we pay for the house is a little higher than some other places in Manayunk, but you basically get what you pay for and we all think it's worth it to live in a great house with parking so close to Main Street. We can walk to just about any place on Main Street within five minutes.

We are a rather social house and would prefer someone who will fit in with the house dynamics. Although everyone is generally busy with work during the week, we hang out and have drinks occasionally at the house and also sometimes go out together, so hopefully this is something that would appeal to you.
