Apartment #5 is a furnished efficiency apartment, and our goal is to have it ready for viewing on or before October 14, 2023. You can use our unique self-serve showing system to view the apartment all by yourself. Viewing hours are expected to begin October 14, 2023, and will remain in effect 7 days/week between 8AM and 8PM for your convenience. The efficiency apartment is furnished, and is a great first apartment or perfect for someone looking to downsize!
Monthly rent includes water, sewer, electricity, trash removal services, monthly preventative pest control, landscaping, pool maintenance, assigned parking, and window blinds. There is a maximum of two people in a furnished efficiency - however if two people will be living in the apartment, the price goes up from $1125/month to $1175/month.
The apartment does not have a kitchen - instead it has a kitchenette comprised of a microwave, a 2-burner hotplate, and a small under-the-counter refrigerator. There is a wall-mounted A/C unit to keep you cool and also allows use of the windows when the weather cooperates! There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination and a walk-in closet for your clothes and storage needs.
The property has a lovely in-ground pool and multiple on-site laundry areas. You also are allowed to use the pools and laundry areas at the two adjacent properties we manage. A well-maintained City park is right across the street, and on the south side of the canal is the Sailboat Bend Preserve - a 1.3 acre greenspace with walking trails -- the area is surprisingly tranquil as a result. There are numerous shops and businesses nearby, and the location gives quick and easy access to both I-95 to the west and Federal Highway to the east. Broward Hospital is a few minutes drive to the south, and the property is also close to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, the Museum of Discovery and Science, and all the restaurants and nightlife on Himmarshee Street. There is a major grocery store chain approximately 5 minutes away by car.
