I am seeking a responsible roommate in a great, low ranch home in the Cherry Park neighborhood. This area of town is close to the Montavilla neighborhood, (a short bike ride, or a half hour walk) including the bars and restaurants on Stark and super close to Mount Tabor. Very close to many stores and Mall 205.
-Quick access to I-84, I-205, bus lines, MAX station right up the street.
The space:
The available bedroom has a huge closet, and the house offers plenty of storage in shared areas as well. There are hardwood floors throughout the entire house. The living room has a fireplace, and great windows to let in light. There is a large kitchen with dishwasher, and a “family” room as well. The garage offers space for storage and there is a utility room with a washer and dryer. There is a good sized front and back yard. The backyard is fenced in, has a shed, and a wrap around deck. Great yard for gardening, and just hanging!
A little about me:
I am 37 and work for a school district. I am not a classroom teacher, so I don’t have typical “teacher hours”, but I am usually early to bed and early to wake Monday through Friday, so I am seeking someone who can live with similar quiet hours. I keep things tidy around the house, and I keep any potential mess in my bedroom. I am looking for someone who will keep the shared spaces clean, and share in the chores.
During the week, I am pretty quiet. If I don’t go out in the evenings, I usually hang around listening to music, cook, work on projects. I often leave the house to be social, but sometimes will invites friends over. I love hiking (rural, and urban) so if the weather is decent, I’m out as much as possible. Tabor is my 2nd backyard, as it is so close by.
I use the kitchen, and cook many of my meals, especially during the week. I’d love to live with someone who respects the area, cleaning up dishes and any smelly foods on an ongoing basis, before they pile up. There is plenty of cabinet space to store food, and your cooking tools.

No (nearly) live in partners, no children, no smoking cigarettes in or near the house, no cats. I may consider a dog.
