If you enjoy biking, there are bike friendly streets all around and the "Red-Line Greenway" (a new park-like walking & bike path) is so close you can see it from the house. That path can take you from the Recreation Center virtually next door to Market District (W25th) and eventually right into Tower City (when they finish the last phase), without crossing many streets (for your added safety). You can also ride your bike North to the beach at Edgewater Park, Whiskey Island and the many marinas there. The area is booming with activity and culture as you probably know.
