The 3-bedroom, 2-bath and 2 half-bath home has been extensively remodeled to keep all of its historic charm while adding modern conveniences and a beautiful patio with fireplace.
The home was originally built by artist/writer Pedro Joseph de Lemos, who built the home as his Carmel art studio in 1926. He was the first president of the Carmel Art Association and is considered an influential Craftsman-era artist and educator, and was the director of the Stanford University art museum and gallery from 1917 to 1945.
The home has been designed to let in natural light through many windows. Plaster walls, Carmel stone fireplaces, and country French furnishings add to the relaxed ambiance.
The living room has a wood-burning Carmel stone fireplace with gas starter and a 36-inch HDTV. Hardwood floors can be found throughout the pet-friendly residence. The kitchen is chef-quality.
Upstairs: master bedroom w/bath, den/office with a gas Carmel stone fireplace, 48-inch HDTV (at one end of house) guest bedroom (at other end of house).
Ground level: Living room, 1/2 bath, kitchen, full bath, guest bedroom.
Downstairs: laundry area, 1/2 bath w/ shower.
