I was just finishing an amazing walkthrough Yorkville, a section of Manhattan's Upper East Side that is active and alive with diversity on so many levels. There are so many different eateries and cafes that offer everything from the unique flavored ice cream of Van Leeuwen to the Hungarian restaurant and bakery called the Budapest Cafe right in front of the door. The building is inconspicuous, right off of 2nd Avenue, where the downtown bus and heavy street traffic flow. This is a 4 story walkup with a nostalgic feel. Everything is kept in good condition and is well structured for stability. The apartment has good natural lighting that I noticed as soon as I entered. The spacing is unique and roomy, which offers many creative possibilities. Walk towards the kitchen that is stacked with white wooden cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and expansive granite countertops for easy cleanup. It is structured in a Pullman style for ease of use. There is a bathroom right next to it that has a subway style tiling and standard fixtures. French doors are a unique touch separating the dining area to the spacious living area. The closets that are there are deep and pretty tall. There are 2 bedrooms with the primary bedroom able to fit most extra large bedframes and furniture sets. The large bedroom is adequate for full to queen sized frames and has great closet space as well. This is an apartment that is an "old school" vibe while maintaining the demand for modern function. Set an appointment and check it out. It is a couple of blocks down from the IRT 4,5,6 train station on Lexington and 86th Street.
