Property Description(323) 435-4447 - THE HIDDEN HOUSE ON PALMS | 12223 Palms Blvd, Mar Vista. Finding a furnished place on the Westside usually means giving something up. You take the corporate apartment with paper-thin walls and a neighbor on every side. Or the furnished unit that feels like a hotel room nobody loved. Or you sign for an empty place and burn three weeks and a moving truck making it livable before you can breathe. Privacy, character, and move-in-ready almost never show up together. This one is different. It's a private front-house residence tucked behind the gates of a quiet Mar Vista community, your own space, not a unit wedged between neighbors, with a real sense of seclusion the moment you arrive. Out front, your own hedged patio is built for actually being outside: a swing on the covered porch for morning coffee, lounge chairs and a fire pit under string lights for evenings that run long, all wrapped in greenery so it feels like yours alone. Inside, light pours through oversized windows across warm bamboo floors, the living room settles around a fireplace, and the whole place carries that easy mid-century warmth, updated for the way people actually live now. The kitchen is built for genuinely cooking and hosting, with dual ovens, a six-burner cooktop, and room to spread out, and the primary suite is its own retreat with a spa-style marble shower and a deep soaking tub. And it's ready the day you are. Fully furnished, WiFi included, so there's no truck to rent, no rooms to fill, nothing to set up on day one. You arrive with a suitcase and you're home. Then there's the location, the part of Mar Vista people fall for. Walk or bike to the cafes, the restaurants, the grocery store, the pharmacy, and the weekly farmers market. Venice Beach, Marina del Rey and Santa Monica are minutes away, with trails, parks and bike paths close by, and the 10 and 405 put Culver City, Beverly Hills, downtown, LAX, and the studios, Sony, Google and DreamWorks, all within easy reach. It's set in a secure gated community of long-term owners who take genuine pride in where they live, the kind of calm, well-kept, friendly block that rarely opens up to renters at all. A private, furnished home with this much quiet, in a Westside pocket this walkable, is a genuinely rare find for lease. Come see it in person, you'll feel the difference the moment you walk in.
