24 Bennett Ave

Charming Top Floor (6th), corner, 1-bedroom unit with a unique, pre-war layout. The 35-foot entry hall is full of closets and storage, with a dining nook/office area at the end. French doors hand-painted by a local artist lead into the bedroom (which can be easily converted back to the living room if you prefer). The large, windowed kitchen features a pass-through to the living room, with ample counter space, many cabinets and a less than 1-year-old GE dishwasher. The additional closet separating the kitchen and bath features laundry hookup already in place. The bathroom is spacious and windowed. This well-kept elevator building has a great resident super, video intercom system, secure package room, common laundry room, bike storage, and additional storage room for rent. The board is very attentive, responsive, and keeps excellent financials. The management company also maintains a very fast response time. Solar panels on the rooftop give the building an "A" for energy efficiency and help to keep common charges reasonable. This apartment is less than a 5-minute walk to the A train, 7 minutes to the 1 train and GWB Bus Station, and there are plenty of grocery stores (& a new Target) nearby. Fort Tryon, Inwood, and Bennett Parks are all very close, as well as the historic United Palace Theater.
