Student-oriented community defines Riverside, where this southeast Austin district features numerous apartment complexes catering to academic lifestyles. Most rental communities include amenities specifically designed for students including study spaces, shuttle services to campus, and resort-style pools. The neighborhood provides excellent access to both Lady Bird Lake recreation and downtown entertainment via multiple bridges, creating an ideal environment for students seeking quality housing with straightforward campus access beyond purely West Campus options.
Tech corridor convenience defines North Burnet, where newer apartment communities surround Austin's growing technology district including The Domain's "second downtown" development. Most rental properties include contemporary amenities supporting both remote work requirements and active lifestyles through flexible spaces and resort-style facilities. Though lacking the character of historic neighborhoods, the practical advantages of modern construction and proximity to major employers creates compelling value for tech professionals seeking convenience.
Collegiate convenience meets urban buzz near UT Austin's 307-foot Tower. Renters covet Craftsman bungalows with original hardwood floors but face 45% rent increases upon lease renewal. The neighborhood's "Grove Shutdown" tradition sees 20,000 students flood 24th Street during finals week.
I would look at Sentral maybe for elevated living, other places are called luxury but fail to deliver
Not sure a lot of places are are old n need to upgrade. But my experience in apartment I gotta say Salado made me feel welcome coming from losing everything in house fire

Very much so. I moved from COS, CO and I feel like I received 5 raises to go along with my promotion.
Just depends on person and preferences. I have many friends living downtown and all have different incomes, different lives, jobs, etc., but love it down there.
I enjoy living downtown, easy to get to different neighborhoods, usually high rise living which I also enjoy

Yes! Known for it's Nightlife scene High rise buildings A great place to live for people of all ages but I'm not financially able
Depends on your reason for living there. Its not worth it if you just do the usual grocery store, errands, work, then home routine. But if are active, then I'd say it has exactly what you are looking for. I would be picky though as not all parts of Austin are created equal.
I was relocated here after a promotion and it is inexpensive.
The new L.A. basically. It’s better to get here early nowadays and get on the ball to establishing yourself because it’s definitely the place to be for opportunities.
