We are seeking residents who value solidarity, social justice, and shared decision-making. (Preferable but not required) those who are currently or previously living, working, or volunteering in Northeast Los Angeles; involved in LA Más programs; or at risk of displacement or experiencing health and safety concerns in their current housing. We are looking for neighbors who will contribute positively to our collaborative and community-centered environment.

Leasing Details

- $1350/month, including water
- Rents will be increased annually based on allowable %
- Residents pay for electricity, gas, utilities, and City's
- RSO/SCEP housing fees (about $4.44/month)
- Maximum of 4 residents
- $1350 (security deposit + first month's rent) due at signing
- Pets: cats allowed, no dogs allowed
- No parking included

Requirements for Residency

As property owners, LA Más is prioritizing these rental units for working class residents with Northeast LA roots. We are looking for residents with a good rental record and income earning stability, specifically:
- Household income at least $3,400/month
- Household income below $85K (individual) or $121K (family of four) at move-in and expected to remain within working- class ranges
- 10 years of previous leasing history
- 5 years of employment history

Timeline
- Feb 16-March 6 | Applications can be submitted online.
- Viewing available by appointment M-F;
- March 9-20 | Scoring + selection process
- Move in as soon as March 23rd

Application + Selection Process

If you meet the requirements, submit an online application and pay the $21 screening fee. Applications will be evaluated through a structured scoring process with participation from current residents. Selection preferences were developed in collaboration with current residents and the community.
