STAY AWAY FROM THESE THEIVES AND ATTEMPTED KILLLERS!!! We signed our lease & paid the move in costs on 2/5. Next, we did the move-in inspection noting multiple housing violations like lukewarm water in the tub & a fire hazard furnace. It was uninhabitable so we did not move in. After frequent attempts to ellicit any response failed, So Cal Gas inspected the furnace on 2/13 and turned off gas for that appliance. On 2/17, we demanded our monies back as a remedy stated in our lease. To this day, that has been ignored. Instead, they repaired the hot water in the bathtub, wiped off the dust on the exterior of the furnace vents and restored gas to the furnace. On 2/23 there was a LAHD public hearing for unit 14. Their heater hasn't been fixed since Nov. 2025. I couldn't testify for experiencing the exact same issues since I had no personal knowledge of unit 14. On 2/26, the property manager scheduled a meeting to inspect the apartment. I showed him proof that the unit was non-tenantable/uninhabitable. I demanded my money back. He said that he would forward everything to corporate. No response yet. On 3/2, So Cal Gas turned the gas off to the entire unit since the management turned the furnace gas back on without fixing the gas leak, etc. on the red tag. On 3/4 Los Angeles Housing Department inspected the unit and confirmed it was uninhabitable/non-tenantable since the beginning of my lease. They have committed Constructive Eviction and now I have to take them to court.
