The house is one mile from Oak Hill Plaza’s stores, as well as 20 other stores, restaurants, and gas stations. The house is on a quiet residential street with easy parking for guests and minimal crime- indeed, there are several families whose children play in the neighborhood.
The apartment has all of the normal rooms you'd expect -- including access to a laundry room with a washer and dryer -- except there is no living room. Tenants have the option of converting the dining room (or one of the bedrooms) into a living room- currently, the dining room has a nice table and chairs.

Tenants need to pay only one utility bill: The combined electricity/water/trash bill that averages only $150/month, because the house's solar panels have almost eliminated the cost of electricity!
(The owner has a tiny apartment whose entrance is the main front door of the house. But because the owner is based in Europe, he stays in his Austin apartment for only 10-12 days per year- otherwise, his apartment is unoccupied.)
