Moving to Windsor Park

Have you decided that you want to move to Windsor Park? Congratulations! This is an awesome spot near Charlotte that offers a great range of property rentals -- from apartment homes to 3 bedroom houses for rent -- all in a range of prices. The most important first step to take when moving, though, is to do your research about an area. It's a waste of time to even look at houses where you know you won't be happy living! Even neighborhoods have different neighborhoods within them. Want to know more about where to consider in Windsor Park? Check out some useful area info below.

Northern Windsor Park: Northern Windsor Park is the nicest area in the neighborhood. It has tons of residential streets with large, lovely houses. It's a quiet spot, so it's probably not the best place to live if you're looking for somewhere city-ish. If you like history, though, this could be a good spot for you, since the neighborhood is home to the Charlotte Museum of History. It also has a beautiful stream and lake in it, so it's a good scenic area if outdoors are important to you.

Southern Windsor Park: Southern Windsor Park is the busy part of town. So, if you like living near shops, restaurants, entertainment options and businesses, this is the place for you to live. The area is home to Darby Acres Shopping Center, which is a great local mall with tons of great shopping options. This is the most affordable place in the neighborhood to find homes, too, so if you're on a tight budget, look in the Southern half of town.

Central Windsor Park: Central Windsor Park is a good mix of quiet and happening. It's mostly home to residential streets, so it's a good area if you're looking for peace and quiet. What makes Central Windsor Park stand out, however, is that it's the location of Kilborne District Park, a lovely local park with tons of entertainment options. At Kilborne District Park, you can find tons of sports fields, like soccer fields and softball fields, as well as 2 tennis course, an 18-hole Frisbee golf course, picnic facilities, a hiking trail and a playground. Central Windsor Park is one of the best areas in Charlotte for any sports buff to end up living!

Once you've decided on your neighborhood in Charlotte, the best thing to do next is to prepare to apply for an apartment. To apply, you'll need a completed application, which includes some important personal documents. Some of those documents include bank statements, tax returns, proof of income, letters of employment, letters of reference from former landlords, and copies of your IDs. One other thing you'll need to secure your apartment is a deposit. Deposits range from one extra month's rent to 3 months' rent, so make sure you check with potential landlords before you move. You want to make sure you're prepared -- financially, logistically, and emotionally -- for your move before you start! If you feel worried about qualifying financially, consider getting a guarantor. A guarantor is someone who can financially guarantee your apartment. That means that even if you can't afford to pay for it if something goes wrong, you have someone who is legally responsible to pay -- and who can pay -- which means a lot of landlords will feel more excited about renting to you! And renting is what you'll want to do in Windsor Park, whether you end up in a 2 bedroom apartment for rent or a tiny studio apartment.

Living in Windsor Park

Windsor Park is a lovely place to play, picnic and just soak up the great outdoors! It's only 10 minutes away from downtown Charlotte where you can find all the culture, dining and entertainment you could want! The area is a historic place so there is a lot to learn from living here, too. Being just outside of the bustle of downtown, however, means you can enjoy the quietness of the Southeastern United States countryside as well as the convenience of nearby facilities.

You also have easy access to Central Ave, which gets you right into the hear of uptown, and it is quick and easy to get to other U.S. destinations -- like nearby states or the beautiful coastal North and South Carolina beaches. Stepping out of your house means stepping into a world of museums, parks, boutiques, and historic landmarks and more at the nearby uptown area. Plus, the parks and outdoor areas are stunning. Imagine yourself walking along green country roads with bright pink sunsets and sparkly blue country skies. The county is home to some of the most scenic Carolina countryside, as well as world-class dining and entertainment options.
