The location, absolutely wonderful, the space was abundant and we had everything we could ask for, food, fun and shopping within walking distance!
My friends and I walked all along the coast and enjoyed all the views and atmosphere we could absorb!
My family will definitely be back! Laura and her team were amazing and we didn't want to leave!
They have a lost and found and also a place to leave extra toiletries or if you forgot something, good chance someone left some behind!
They have Beach games, and toys and chairs too if You need a cooler they have a few to borrow as well!
Very Highly recommended!!! The entire experience was like a dream!

Other things to note
Yes, we love to save and get a deal.
Here are 13 BEST WAYS 2 SAVE especially if your dates and/or locations are flexible!
1. Book Direct next time after you book on Airbnb VivaBeachLife to SAVE.
2. Book Weekdays---Monday, Tuesday, or Wed. - Save up to 65% off Then Thursdays and Sundays are the next least expensive. Farthest from the weekend the BEST savings.
3. Lengthen Your Stay Week, Month or Year for Long-term Savings: Lengthen your stay to 5-7 days or a month you get bigger/BEST savings the longer you stay depending on the season. (Summer and holidays excluded.)
4. Vaca in the STILL great sunny weather So. Cali months away from kids summers and holidays:
BEST Savings/Weather in Priority Order:
- Fall: Sept. - Nov.
- So. Cal Winter: Dec. - Feb.
- Spring Break: March - May
- Endless Summer: June - Aug.
5. Celebrate Holiday Before and AFTER big holidays: Days and Weeks b4 and After
- Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Year's, etc.
6. Book In Advance: (at least 2 months to a year) and you get the standard rates vs. the seasonally adjusted rates. (Does not apply to the highest seasons, i.e. summer/holidays.)
7. Book Last Minute Available Dates for the Current Month: We sell out 25-31 days a month but sometimes we have a few days that month that do not sell, i.e. days before or after holidays, orphan nights 1-2 days between reservations. My pricing engine lowers these nightly rates automatically. My availability calendar is up to date and live.
8. Join Cancellation or Availability Deals List: We try to help guests get a refund by booking a last-minute cancellation. Just email me and I can notify you when I have a cancellation.
9. Book Non-High Season or Non-Holiday Weekends or Weeks. This is a tough one because Southern California is a vacation destination all year with special events scheduled year-round. See above for the best months/weather.
10. Invite Your Friends & Family. My homes sleep 5-30 and splitting the nightly rate by 16 you all enjoy super savings over hotels.
11. Bring your Pet: Pet rent is less than boarding costs and they deserve a vaca with family.
12. ExchangeHome website to exchange your home any dates for points to book my homes in San Diego, LA and Portland, OR.
13. Book your Mellow Gathering/Celebration/Anniversary, etc. at our homes versus a hotel or restaurant and we'll be your party planners as I have caterers, photo/video, or decorations.
Bottom line vacation homes versus hotels save you money on meals and drinks as you don't have to go out to eat three meals a day. And hotels charge more taxes, parking, internet, media/movies, pool day rates, without the home ammenities etc.
See the link and below for all the SAVINGS advantages VivaBeachLife website.
Just text or email and I can tell you the best days to book for the largest savings.
You and your guests will love the open concept entertainment comfy Modern Beachy home. See my 1000s of 5-star reviews!
We'd LOVE to host you! My calendars are up to date.
My recommendation is to book early. This site and others are set up for instant booking. I do sell 28-31 days every month. A reservation is considered booked with full payment. I'm unable to reserve dates until booked as we are on multiple sites. I don't want you to lose your dates. Thanks for understanding. I don't want you to lose your dates. Thanks for understanding.
Bottomline: I want to get you a deal and sell-out.
Thank you, Cheers, Laura, homeowner, and remodeler
EXTRA GUESTS / SMALL GROUP SAVINGS
I offer a discounted base rate so groups of two and under may enjoy the house without paying for the maximum number of people/6 guests. Like hotels (suite w/ multiple rooms vs. single bed rooms), we charge for guests over two to cover out of pocket costs: discounted rent, linens, towels, supplies, beds, utilities, maintenance, cleaning, breakage, wear and tear, etc. The price is the same. Like hotels, since the set up, washing linens and cleaning are the same as if a guests stays a partial versus the entire stay we need a maximum count of guests for your stay.
The discount/fee is $32 + tax per person per night over two guests. Thanks for understanding.
The cleaning fee covers 5-6 hours of a one time cleaning, cleaning supplies, bathing supplies, and maintenance.
In addition to providing cleaning supplies and Robot Vacuum Cleaners, we require weekly cleaning and sanitizing services if you rent our homes for more than one week for the safety and security of our guests and to protect our homes. After you book, we will send you a reservation alteration to add weekly local housekeeping services.
Supplies and Breakage fee is $25 (so I don't need to file a claim or take from your deposit for a broken wine glass, etc).
I'm required by the City of San Diego to charge a mandatory occupancy tax.
NOTE: We OFFER our Pack & Play, high chair, low chair and Cribs for rent. SPECIAL OFFER $30+tax per day/night! plus a delivery fee.
Yes, we would love to host your doggies with your family and friends' vacation! As they are your best friends!
I've remodeled all my Costal entertainer vacation homes with materials that are pet, kid and social safe and friendly.
My "Mission Beach Jamaica & Jamaica FLAT" home is ideal for pets as we are steps from:
Mission Beach AND Mission Bay - with a bike path, beach and park for dogs. Dogs must be on a leash.
There are dog parks and dog beaches (closest Ocean Beach & Fiesta Island) nearby too.
Dog Beach - Ocean Beach (24 hr. off-leash) - located at the west end of Voltaire St., this off-leash dog beach is one of the most popular in San Diego
Fiesta Island - Mission Bay Located in Mission Bay Park, dogs are allowed in all areas except for the Youth Campground and Least Tern nesting sites (seasonal). Daily 6:00 am - 10:00 pm, this area offers calmer waters than the ocean and sand dunes to run on.
North Beach Dog Run - Coronado (24 hr. off-leash) - located on Ocean Blvd. near Sunset Park at the northern end of the beach next to the U.S. Naval Station entrance. Dogs must be leashed until you reach the beach. Foot shower and free dog litter bags at the entrance to the run.
Del Mar Dog Beach - Del Mar (post-Labor Day thru June 14 off-leash) - located at Via De La Valle and Highway 101 at the river mouth. off-leash area is north of 29th St.
The daily rent is $32 per day and a $75+tax hypoallergenic cleaning per pet (+mandatory tax) so guests who are allergic to pets may enjoy the home too. Airbnb makes us send you a Reservation Alteration to pay rent and cleaning services for your pet.
Pet owners agree to not leave out dog food inside and outside and to clean the waste up immediately for sanitary reasons. My housekeeper will charge you $5 per pile fee to clean up after your dog.
OWNERS MUST BE WITH DOGS AT ALL TIMES OUTSIDE for the safety of all.
I also can provide doggie (and baby) sitting for approximately $? per day.
We'd love to host the entire family. Enjoy!
EARLY & LATE CHECK-IN & CHECKOUT SERVICES
Yes, we do offer an early 2 pm check-in AND 11:30 am late checkout services by hiring another local housekeeper and outsourcing some of the laundries to ensure we clean and sanitize every surface inside and out to make it happen. ($75+ tax each)
