Its deck and screened porch give on to a yard with garden beds, fruit trees, fire pit, and picnic table. The space feels like a country retreat, with Wicahapi Park and the St. Paul Municipal Forest just steps from the back door. Both of these sit on bluffs offering scenic views of the Mississippi and downtown St. Paul.
This is a turnkey rental, fully ready for your occupancy at the start date and perfect for couples, small families, or professionals relocating to or within the cities. Living, sleeping, and office (2) spaces are fully furnished. Three bedrooms (w/ queen, full, and twin beds). The main bathroom was renovated in 2022, with a half-bath on the 1st floor. Furnace heat/ductless AC. The residence has a full kitchen w/ dual-fuel stove, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave (all stainless steel), and comes complete with dishware, kitchen utensils, and small appliances (blender, toaster oven, coffeemaker, etc.). There's a washer/dryer in basement, as well as an exercise bike and rowing machine.
From the residence, one can quickly access I-94, I-35E, and US 61, 10, & 52, making for direct commutes across the metro. One Metro Transit bus line runs in front of the house and two others are within walking distance- all three go downtown and link with the light rail (Green Line) system. The St. Paul Grand Round trail passes behind the property, so walking and cycling to the city center, (2.5 miles, 10-12 minutes by bike) and nearby Swede Hollow, Lake Phalen, and Battle Creek Parks is easy.
No pets and non-smokers only, please. $2,500/mo. + deposit (water/sewer, waste disposal, and wifi included- electricity and gas not included). Starting and ending dates are flexible and extending the lease for a full twelve months is possible, but a renewal is not. We have a family dog (Belle, a coon hound mix) who will not travel with us.
