Heron Walk sits in the Hermitage/Donelson area east of Nashville and offers a blend of suburban calm and easy access to the city, with garden-style apartments and townhomes that tend to have more square footage than comparable units closer to downtown.
Percy Priest Lake is just minutes away, giving residents a convenient spot for boating, fishing, and lakeside walks without a long drive. Dedicated bus routes connect the neighborhood to downtown's entertainment districts, which gives renters an alternative to driving and parking for a night out.
Units here often come with amenities that are harder to find in denser parts of the city, including private patios, extra storage space, and in-unit washer and dryer connections rather than shared laundry facilities.
The tradeoff for being near the lake is that summer evenings can bring more bugs than renters find downtown, so screened patios or doors are worth checking for.
Overall, Heron Walk tends to appeal to renters who want more space and a quieter pace without giving up a reasonable commute into the city. Apartment List lets you filter Heron Walk listings by unit features and price so you can find a floor plan that fits your needs.
