The land where the church sits was purchased in 1855 from a descendant of John Adams and once hosted Anna Marie Jarvis, the founder of Mother’s Day. A stunning work of stained glass, much of which we have preserved, was dedicated to her memory and placed in the front of the church and will grace the common areas within the building.
