Baa Baa Black Sheep_ -- _In 2007, Coeur d'Alene Airport, located in Hayden, was renamed Pappy Boyington Field in honor of the Medal of Honor winner whose WWII exploits were the basis for the television show. Boyington, whose role was played by Robert Conrad, said the show was very loosely based on facts.

Hayden Lake: Yes, it's right next to Lake Hayden! This part of town is where you'll find the Hayden Lake Marina on Cooper's Bay. The lakeside is lined with private boat docks, and the streets winding through the nearby hills are lined with large homes. Hit the links at the Hayden Lake Country Club for some golf fun.

Dalton Gardens: Just west of the lakeside neighborhoods is Dalton Gardens, which is centered around the park of the same name. U.S. Highway 95 marks the west boundary, and it's where you will find Silver Lake Mall.

Finucane: The neighborhood around Finucane Park along East and then West Prairie Avenue is a mix of residential and retail zones with a few apartment rentals in small complexes. Big-box stores anchor two shopping areas, and eateries such as Pita Pit and Papa Murphy's await your hungry hands.

West Hayden: This part of the community is on the west side of U.S. 95 and extends out toward Pappy Boyington Field.
