We're creating something different from the typical rental.
West Davis Professional House is a beautifully maintained lakefront home where a small number of carefully selected residents enjoy privacy, exceptional amenities, and a respectful community of like-minded professionals.
Whether you're joining UC Davis, completing a graduate or professional program, conducting research, working in healthcare, or relocating to Davis, our goal is to provide more than a place to live- we aim to provide a place you'll truly enjoy coming home to.

Utilities, including electricity, gas, water, trash, and internet, are shared equally among residents.
Our Community
This is a quiet home for mature adults who value respect, cleanliness, privacy, and community.
We are intentionally seeking:

* Graduate and professional students
* Postdoctoral researchers
* Visiting scholars
* Physicians and healthcare professionals
* Scientists, engineers, and other professionals
This is not undergraduate student housing.
The owner maintains a private annex within the home but travels extensively throughout the year (is on sabbatical for a year and will not likely be onsite.) The suite is completely separate from the resident bedrooms. During occasional visits to Davis, the owner may reside in the private suite while residents continue to enjoy the home and common areas.
We're looking to build a low-maintenance community, not simply fill rooms.
Compatibility with existing residents is important, and prospective residents will have an opportunity to meet one another to help ensure everyone enjoys the living environment.
Lease terms are flexible for the right residents.
