Do not move here at all.** The office manager is the absolute worst—very rude and condescending. My rent was supposed to be $1,400 a month, but now I’m paying over $1,700 with miscellaneous charges just added on. I have been waiting for the office manager, Mellisa, to call me back for months, and she still hasn’t. They are liars. The whole apartment is falling apart. I have water puddles all over the apartment. When I went to the office, the manager was very rude and short, saying I have to pay a $400 transfer fee but still couldn’t move until after my current lease is up. If I were to break my lease, I have to move in 60 days and pay rent until they re-rent the apartment. Essentially, they can screw you over and claim they didn’t rent it out, continuously taking rent from you. The neighborhood is not safe. There are gunshots almost every night, and kids run around aiming fireworks at apartments and at each other. A fire was started, and it could have been detrimental if my neighbor and I hadn’t seen it and if he hadn’t put it out. There are absolutely no perks to living here! The maintenance guys are great, but other than that, I would avoid these apartments like the plague. The foundation of the apartment complex is broken down but your forced to tolerate the damage while they take your money and just bandage up a sinking ship but it’s not working!
