Amenities
Roanoke, 4 miles from Texas Motor Speedway, is the Unique Dining Capital of Texas. So, eat out or eat in. This is a small house, in a stable neighborhood, on a limited access street. Roanoke is a growing town. Look one direction from this house and you see the marquee for a new theater. Step out the back door and you see an old goat pasture. Walmart and Aldi are the grocery stores in town, but a short drive into Southlake (8 miles) provides access to upscale markets and shopping. Bottom line, we love Roanoke ourselves because it is quiet and feels rural, yet we have easy access to city amenities. The house is furnished for short term rental, but there remains a feeling of being at home. The kitchen features up-to-date appliances and a large sink. Table seats 4, with additional seating around the kitchen countertop. Each bedroom has a queen bed with closet storage. Both bathrooms feature vessel sinks (1 in guest, 2 in master) and tub/shower. Living room contains a sleeper-sofa. Patios in front and back to enjoy Texas weather. DFW International Airport is 15 miles. Corporate facilities within 5-7 miles, in Southlake and Westlake, include Deloitte University, Fidelity, Ameritrade, Wells-Fargo and Sabre Industries. Roanoke is also adjacent to the Alliance Global Logistics Hub, which includes Alliance Airport. Improvements to highways 114, 170, 121 and 360 make travel throughout the Mid-Cities area quick and efficient. Highway 377 is an effective alternative into Fort Worth as construction on US 35W South continues.
