Property DescriptionA RIDGETOP ESTATE ON 108 PRIVATE ACRES -- OCCIDENTAL, CALIFORNIA
$6,500 per month | One-Year Lease
Beyond a gated entrance and a long private drive, 108 acres of west Sonoma County unfold in every direction -- rolling hills, ancient forest, cultivated gardens, and a horizon that ends at the Pacific. This is a rare offering: a secluded country estate available for lease, furnished, partially furnished, or unfurnished to suit the way you live.
THE RESIDENCE
Crowning the ridge and encircled by Meyer lemon orchards and fields of flowers, this earthen-chic farmhouse is a study in warmth and craftsmanship. Four bedrooms and one and a half baths. Two distinct living spaces and a private office. A custom farm kitchen built for long, unhurried meals. Wrap-around patios invite the day indoors, while the balcony frames the gardens below -- and, on clear afternoons, a glimpse of the mighty blue Pacific beyond.
THE LAND
Ten of the 108 acres have been thoughtfully cultivated -- gardens, orchards, herb beds, and greenhouses. The remainder is left as it has always been: wild forests of oak, redwood, and fir. This is native Pomo land, and it carries that presence. Birdsong at first light, hawks riding the thermals, sunsets that stop conversation. Nothing less than spectacular.
THE SURROUNDINGS
Meandering country roads lead in every direction to small towns, each with its own character. Occidental offers exceptional dining and well-stocked markets just minutes away. The coast is roughly five miles as the crow flies, and twenty minutes east brings you to Sebastopol -- breweries, boutiques, and a downtown that keeps getting better.
THE TERMS
Offered at $6,500 per month on a one-year lease, with a $6,500 security deposit. Available fully furnished, partially furnished, or unfurnished.
