Talus Apartments

I absolutely HATE this place. I can’t wait for the day I am able to move out. This experience; this place has been the worst for me. I have been charged two different prices for a prorated rent. I was supposed to move to another apartment one a certain date so I paid rent based on that day. Talus apartment calls and tell me they need me to stay because they aren’t ready (but I had already paid my prorated rent) so they end up charging me for the days they had me to stay which is unfair because it wasn’t my fault I couldn’t move it was theirs. I’m sick of going in circles trying to get this fixed. Anna the front desk person is nice she’s just doing her job. I do more in the apartment (both this one and the one I moved out of) to make it livable and nice than anything. I came in the apartment having to scrub it clean, clean out roaches, and cover bad work with cabinet covers. Still waiting for under my cabinet to be fixed. They forced internet on everyone who lives here. I get internet through Xfinity for free because of some “child in school” program they have so I didn’t need internet. But now Talus apartments connected with Xfinity and everyone has to pay $65 every month for internet no matter what. This is so unfair. We are made to pay internet!!!! All the crap with this place is too much to list. For this place to be as much as it is, it’s trash. Which sucks cause it has potential. I wouldn’t invite my worst enemy to move here.

My apartment is nice and is in a great location. Any maintenance issues have been dealt with efficiently, and the amenities are great. However, the ceiling seems to have no soundproofing, there is a lack of security, and parking is awful.
