Overall rating
This apartment lured me in with cheap rent prices. Although, I was frightened to learn why it was so cheap after a week of moving in. There were so many roaches everywhere, the sinks, the fridge seal, windows, bathtub. The insulation was awful in the winter and my electricity bill was over $200, I wish I could make this up. The trash bins were barely intact outside, flooded, iced over, and the storage units were busted into. The water damage in the place was so bad that my window ledges were falling off and it appears that maintenance tried to paint over and glue so many layers on. The water damage caused black mold to bubble through the walls in which heavy thick paint covered them. There was so much bubbling in the paint of the walls, ceilings and yet maintenance just painted over again and again. The floor boards started to detatch from the walls. There were holes in my floors from the water damage and mold it caused it to eat at the floors. I could hear dogs screaming every single night next to me and I think they were locked in the room while their owner left. They started to scratch at the walls and bark which would wake me. I barely survived two months in this place and had to move. I lost thousands of dollars to terminate the lease because they threatened me there wasn't mold and were unaware any of this was happening.
