Prices remain up 4.9% year-over-year. The median rent in Fort Lee fell by 3.7% over the course of January, and has now increased by a total of 4.9% over the past 12 months. Fort Lee’s rent growth over the past year has has outpaced both state (1.7%) and national (-1.4%) averages.
If we expand our view to the wider New York metro area, the median rent is $2,233 meaning that the median price in Fort Lee ($2,366) is 6.0% greater than the price across the metro as a whole. Metro-wide annual rent growth stands at 2.2%, below the rate of rent growth within just the city.
