Waterfront living defines Snug Harbor, where many homes border canals with direct ocean access through the Hillsboro Inlet. Rental properties often include features like private docks, pools, and water views at more reasonable rates than oceanfront locations. The neighborhood sits just minutes from both beautiful beaches and shopping along Federal Highway, though flood insurance requirements add to housing costs in some sections.
Oceanfront living dazzles with sunrise views from Pompano Beach Pier. Studio rents exceed $2.5k for units with balconies. Spring break crowds dominate pool decks March-April, while seaweed odors peak during summer sargassum blooms.
