Farmhouse Luxury Apartments

Maintenance has been very friendly and attentive. However, the amenities are lacking — the few times we’ve tried to use the fire pit, it hasn’t been working properly or available. We live on the first floor and expect normal noise from above, but our neighbor across from us has three dogs that bark constantly. We don’t even share a wall with them, yet we can still hear the barking clearly inside our unit. Their pet waste is also not picked up, which causes an unpleasant smell around our area and keeps us from enjoying our balcony. In addition, some neighbors frequently smoke marijuana on their balconies, and the smell often drifts into nearby units and outdoor spaces. The community overall feels more college-oriented than family-oriented, which can make it harder for families to feel comfortable. It would be great to see a small playground or kid-friendly area added, especially since the property is slightly outside of the city. My husband parks in a handicap spot, and people frequently park in the “no access zone” next to it, which shouldn’t be allowed. The doors have keypads, but they don’t work — you can only use a key fob, which makes the keypad pointless. Noise travels easily from inside to outside the units, even when we’re not being loud. That said, the units themselves are very nice — everything looks clean and aesthetically cohesive, which was exactly what we were looking for when moving in.
