~Gathering~
Oak Haven is perfect for groups-- our front yard features a spacious round about with plenty of parking for you and your guests.
Once inside, guests will find 2 large living rooms-- one with a sofa, chair-and-a-half, and a rocking chair, and the second featuring a sofa and love seat. The second living space is open to the kitchen, and features a smart TV (guests login to their streaming services, no cable).
Our beautiful kitchen has a gas range, oven, microwave, kitchen aid, blender, instant pot, Keurig, and anything else you may need to make a wonderful meal.
For seating, we have 3 bar seats at our island, as well as two dining rooms.
The first is a formal dining room that seats 6, and the second, a more casual dining room, is located in our sun room, featuring a bench area and 4 chairs, as well as a high chair.
Finally, off the sunroom we have our beautiful screened in porch, equipped with lights, a fan, lounge chair, outdoor sofa, 2 armchairs, and a high top table with 2 chairs.
This outdoor area also has a Smart TV, so you can enjoy your favorite shows when the weather is pleasant. If it is a bit chilly, or raining, we have electric screens that can be lowered to keep the heat in or the weather out. We are sure you will love this porch as much as we do!
~Bedrooms and Bathrooms~
We have 3 bedrooms for guests, as well as an Ikea sleeper sofa in the front living room. There are 2 full bathrooms in the bedroom wing of the home, and a 1/2 bath located off of the sunroom. Here are the details:
Master Bedroom
Our Master bedroom has a Queen bed, spacious closet, window seat, nightstands, reading lamps, and small dresser. It is attached to a full bathroom with beautiful cabinets and a large, glass shower. This bathroom can be accessed from the bedroom directly, or from the hallway outside.
King Bedroom
Our second bedroom is actually larger than the master, and features a King bed, nightstands and reading lamps, a dresser with a mirror, and his and hers closets. A pack-and-play is also available in this closet for your convenience.
This room is attached to a jack-and-jill style bathroom, which it shares with the Full Room. The single vanity is separate from the second room, containing the toilet and a traditional tub/shower combination, making it easy for guests to get ready while someone else showers.
The Full Room
The Full room features 2 full beds, an anchored dresser, large closet, nightstand, and bedside lamp. It is also attached to the jack-and-jill bathroom. It is located at the back of the house, making it a great place for children to sleep while adults continue into the evening.
Front Living Room
The front living room features an Ikea pull out sofa, and we provide pillows and linens for you to make it up into a Queen sized bed.
~Pets and Other Details~
We are pet friendly here at Oak Haven and welcome your furry friends for a one time pet fee that is assessed during or after booking.
It is IMPORTANT to note that while the entire ground floor is fully yours as guests, I (Renee), live in the basement apartment below you with my own dogs and cats. I have a separate driveway entrance, and keep my animals in the closed off backyard area when they are out.
Guests are welcome to use the front yard area for their dogs (not fenced in), or to take them for walks down the sidewalk.
