How does it work? Your monthly rent payments immediately count 100% toward the transfer to you of the home free and clear at the end of the payment period. The first payment includes the fee to rent to own (between $3500-$7000 depending on factors like credit, background, etc). Then, you simply make monthly rent payments of $650 until you own the home. Your payment will never increase. When your payments are done, you own the home. All you've paid is about the same amount or less that you'd pay for a rental -- except here you own your home at the end. You are responsible for fixing the home to the way you like it and maintaining it. We pay all the property taxes and insurance until the home ownership is transferred to you.
