Heading out of downtown Coeur d'Alene, you go north on 11th Street. Immediately after the intersection of 11th Street and Foster Avenue, you take the very next right turn into the alley leading to the rental. (The Zen Hideaway sits on the fully enclosed private lot immediately behind the house located at 724 N. 11th Street.) There are two parking spaces available to you on your right once you reach the rental house. The canopied main entrance into the house is labeled "Zen Hideaway" and is located on the alley side of the house.

Upon initial entry into the house, you step right into an inviting and welcoming foyer with a storage room and a stunning spiral staircase that leads up to the house's loft.

The next room to welcome you in is the kitchen. This kitchen starts with beautiful hardwood countertops and a wide array of oak cabinets and drawers both overhead and beneath the counters. The whole kitchen is beautifully lit up with ceiling lights, decorative overhead hanging lights, and counter lights. This kitchen comes complete with a large refrigerator, a full-size electric stove and oven, a dual-basin sink, a dishwasher, a built-in overhead microwave, and a pantry. A tea kettle, a toaster, a coffee maker, a blender, some cooking utensils, some pantry items, and a supply of paper towels are all readily available to you on the kitchen counters. The cupboards are fully stocked with dishes, cups, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, linens, and cleaning supplies, all ready for you to prepare meals and snacks.

Immediately adjacent to the kitchen is the living room. The centerpiece of this cozy room is a gas fireplace, which adds warmth and ambiance to the room. This inviting room features a large sectional sofa and a coffee table situated next to a 50-inch flatscreen TV with remotes and a set of wall-mounted surround sound speakers. This room also includes a desk and a breakfast bar table with two barstools. All of this sits under a beautiful ceiling fan with lights. A pair of skylight windows and ceiling lights distributed throughout bring plenty of extra light into the room.

The dining room features a dining table with bench seating and two chairs, providing ample seating for six people. This dining room features a set of skylight windows overhead and a sliding glass door, leading to the patio, all of which create a sunroom effect. A small buffet table is provided, and a large open window connects the dining room to the kitchen.

A pair of double doors leads to the sunken bedroom. This bedroom features a King size bed with luxurious linens, a plush comforter, extra pillows, two bedside tables, a lamp, and an alarm clock. Added features include a ceiling fan, a skylight window, and a decorative stained glass window embedded in the picture window looking out onto the courtyard. The most stunning feature of this room is the glass-enclosed gas fireplace. This fireplace is shared with the dining room in a unique two-sided configuration in the room's construction.

The bathroom is immediately adjacent to the bedroom. This bathroom features a wide sink vanity, a row of mirrored wall-mounted medicine cabinets, and unique light fixtures hanging overhead. Across the courtyard is a small one-room guest house with one queen size bed available for Zen Hideaway guests to use.
