Apartment List has released West Palm Beach’s results from the third annual Apartment List Renter Satisfaction Survey. This survey, which drew on responses from over 45,000 renters, provides insight on what states and cities must do to meet the needs of 111 million American renters nationwide.
"West Palm Beach renters expressed general satisfaction with the city overall," according to Apartment List. "However, ratings varied greatly across different categories, indicating that even though renters love West Palm Beach, some aspects can be better."

Golf course living defines The Villages of Palm Beach Lakes, where rental condos and townhomes often border fairways creating green vistas from many properties. Most units include access to community pools, fitness centers, and tennis courts creating resort-like environments for everyday living. The neighborhood provides excellent access to both Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard shopping and I-95 connections to broader South Florida destinations, though some buildings show their age requiring realistic expectations regarding finishes and amenities.
Golden Lakes features waterfront living surrounding multiple lakes in western West Palm Beach. Rental properties typically include water views, community pools, and Florida-essential outdoor living spaces. While the neighborhood provides excellent access to both Florida's Turnpike connections and Wellington attractions, the removed location means longer drives to beaches and downtown despite the water features throughout the community. Well-suited for equestrian enthusiasts and those connected to Wellington's horse industry seeking affordable water views who don't require oceanfront or intracoastal positioning.
A 1970s time capsule, Century Village is famous for shuffleboard leagues, water aerobics, and retro-chic clubhouse events. Strict 9PM noise curfews maintain tranquility, though original plumbing in some units requires occasional maintenance. Social butterflies thrive with weekly ballroom lessons and potluck dinners.
