It has a great location sandwiched in between the water and Interstate 75. I-75 is a major highway that can take you to Tampa in less than an hour. Sarasota Springs is only 10 minutes from downtown Sarasota and it's just a little farther to all of the beaches and keys off the coast.

Since Sarasota Springs isn't an incorporated town and is on the small side, it doesn't have any distinct neighborhoods. Instead, you can find a handful of places to call home across the area. There are not a ton of rental apartments in Sarasota Springs, since much of the available rental market is taken up by rental houses. So you may just have to get used to having a little extra space.
If you are looking for apartments for rent in Sarasota Springs, your best bet is along South Beneva Road or Bee Ridge Road. Here you will find mostly two bedroom, two bath units and townhouses for rent. Larger apartments are a little hard to find in this area.
Many of the apartment complexes are family owned and may be a little older. You probably want to view the complex before committing, just to be sure that jives with your style.
Once you find a place you like, you will have to come up with first month's rent and a security deposit. The security deposit generally runs less than a full month's rent. Pets are readily accepted here, but may cost a little extra.
