This home qualifies for a Rent-to-Own Program - HOWEVER, You are not obligated to purchase the home, your only obligation is a one year lease. 60 days prior to your lease being up - you will have 3 choices:
1. Move and get your security deposit back (equivalent to two mos rent)
2. Opt to lease for another year (you can do this up to 5 yrs) - you know what your rent is going to be when you sign the original lease.
3. Purchase the home
Best thing is - you pay $75 application fee (PER HOUSEHOLD/not individual) and can look at as many houses as you want w/o having to keep re-applying and wasting application costs.
MUST HAVE:
580 Credit score or higher
no felonies w/in last 7 years
sec. deposit (fully refundable) equiv. to 2 mos rent
household income of 45k or higher.
