SUPER LOCAL BEACHES TO “EL SEGUNDO ENTERTAINER”

El Segundo Beach
El Segundo Beach is between the Southern end of Playa Del Rey just North of Grand Avenue where the parking lot is located off of Vista Del Mar and to the South at 45th Street at the North end of Manhattan Beach`s El Porto beach area. There are permanent beach restroom facilities and a lifeguard lookout tower adjacent to the parking lot but no concession stands at this beach. Parking is Pay and Display and run by L.A. County - just pay at the automated meter and display the pass on your dashboard. Parking is between $2.00 - $10.00 depending on your stay.

El Segundo Beach does have Volleyball nets set up if you want to get a game together. Also, it is adjacent to the bike path so if you have bikes or roller blades with you, it is less than 1 mile to get to Manhattan Beach to the South where there is a place to eat called the Surf Food Stand. To the North, it is just a short walk to the Dockweiler Youth Center and the bluff where Windsports provides Hang Gliding lessons.

The beach has some interesting rocks along the bike path and some nice waves coming in to enjoy. It is a good quiet beach to enjoy without the normal crowds seen at Manhattan Beach or some other beach locations during the summer. Towards the South part of the beach near El Porto, you can find surfers in the water enjoying the surf.

The new restroom facilities and outdoor rinse station at El Segundo Beach are located at the base of a new lifeguard lookout tower. The lifeguard facility stores equipment for LA County`s Lifeguard`s Junior Guard Program and lifeguard trucks and equipment are also stored here. These facilities make really nice additions to a pretty beach.

End of Summer 2019, I (Laura, the homeowner), have moved up to El Segundo to remodel and enhance the entire home for the third time! I'll be adding the newest upgrades:

Bedrooms:
- Upgraded the mattresses
- Increased size of beds by adding three King beds
- New keypad locks on every bedroom door for privacy and security

Outside:
- Resurfaced the back patio deck with views
- Upholstered outside back patio deck with views sectionals
- Bought two swinging lounge chairs that turn into loungers
- Added big umbrella and string lights
- Every year, bought new Weber large charcoal BBQ with new Utensil Kit
- Pool resurfacing started- finish on the next break in reservations.
- Added drought-tolerant succulent, palm tree garden to the front yard
- Stuccoed, painted outside of the home

Kitchen: Added more items to stocked kitchen including
- glassware

PET POLICY - Have Pets?? Cats, Dogs ok- just let us know and we`ll supply the beds, bowls and toys. We would LOVE to host your pets - We charge $25 per pet per day/night plus tax PLUS a 1 time Hypo Allergenic cleaning fee of $75 plus tax.

EXTRA GUEST POLICY - Yes, we may accommodate additional guests day and night. We would love for you to enjoy our home with family and friends! Yes, as mentioned in the contract, ad and house tips we offer a discounted base rate so groups of four and under may enjoy the house without paying for the maximum number of people - up to 30. Like hotels (suite w/ multiple rooms vs. single bed rooms), we charge for guests over four to cover out of pocket costs: mandatory occupancy tax, discounted rent, linens, towels, supplies, beds, utilities, maintenance, cleaning, breakage, wear and tear, etc. The price is proportionate to the number of guests. Like hotels, since the set up, washing linens and cleaning are the same as if a guests stays a partial versus the entire stay we need a maximum count of guests for your entire stay. Also hotels which charge day fees, day pool passes, sell food and beverage, do not allow outside food or beverages, merchandise and parking to help pay for the cost of day visitors. You save by bringing your own food and beverages! :) The City is now very strict on occupancy guest count for both day and night and the mandatory occupancy tax. Your reservation guest count for both day and night is the maximum number of guests allowed at the house at all times day and night. The city is trying to prevent overcrowding of rooms/house, noisy parties and groups booking a hotel room or house for four guests but hosting daytime and overnight guests above this number. (The City will fine you $2500 per day for the guest count for both day and night for not being accurate.) The discount/fee is $25 per person per night and $15 per person per day over four guests plus the mandatory city occupancy tax. Thanks for letting us know your accurate guest count. Invite Your Friends and Family to Save More Per Person. Our home sleeps 30 guests. By splitting the fix rates by the maximum number of guests you all will pay less per person and enjoy super savings per person especially over hotels who can not accommodate larger numbers without paying for more rooms. Thank you for letting me know your guest count for both day and night has increased. I will adjust your reservation and let housekeeping know to set up additional bedding, linen and supplies with payment.

The cleaning fee is a one-time fee. I have a team of housekeepers that clean from 10 am (check out time) to 4 pm (check in time) prior to your stay and after your stay. If you need an early check-in (before 4 pm) or late check-out (after 10 am) I may accommodate by hiring an additional housekeeper for ($75+tax) depending on availability. Please give me notice as soon as possible so that I may book the proper staff. Just let me know when you know. I will do my best to hire at the last minute too. I will need to charge you the cost to clean for non-planned late check outs in order to get the place ready for the next guest by 4 pm. Thanks for understanding.

Feel free to message me with any questions or special requests, i.e. late or early check-in (need to hire an additional housekeeper), personal chef, we do the grocery shopping, massages, concierge services, beach and bike rentals, crib and kids chairs, etc.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS | NEW CLEANING SERVICE CHECK LIST

Pay special attention to frequently touched surfaces.
Focus on surfaces that are touched frequently like handles, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, keypad entry systems, and cabinet handles.

Wear disposable gear when cleaning.
Wear disposable gloves, face coverings, and gowns while cleaning if
possible for protection. Don't forget to wash your hands and dispose of disposable gear or wash reusable gear on the highest heat setting allowed.

Wash your hands before and after each clean.
Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use
hand sanitizer (rub your hands together until it's dry) that has at least
60% alcohol content.

Clean first, then disinfect.
Use soap and water to remove dirt, grease, and dust. Once the surface is clean, spray and clean with a disinfectant. Let it stand for a few minutes, then wipe away clean. Use paper towels or be sure to use a new rag for each new clean. Pay special attention to frequently touched surfaces.

Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, and mouth.
Avoid touching your face while cleaning to prevent the spread of germs. We often do thisunconsciously, so pay close attention while cleaning. Wash your hands often and before you touch your face.

Wash all linens at the highest heat setting recommended by the manufacturer.
Wash all bed sheets, mattress covers, bathroom towels, kitchen towels, and blankets. Wear gloves when handling dirty laundry, and take care to avoid shaking laundry, which could increase the spread of germs.

Pay special attention to frequently touched surfaces.
Focus on surfaces that are touched frequently like handles, doorknobs,
light switches, remotes, keypad entry systems, and cabinet handles.

CLEANING
Clean and disinfect laundry area and hampers.
Clean and disinfect all laundry hampers. Consider using washable or
disposable liners. Avoid shaking laundry to prevent the spread of germs. Wipe down laundry appliances with disinfectant after use.

Pay attention to soft, porous surfaces.
Pay close attention to soft surfaces like curtains, sofas, and rugs. Remove visible dirt and grime followed by cleaning with the appropriate cleaning product for the material. Machine wash items if possible.

Empty vaccuum cleaners between each clean.
Empty contents of vacuum cleaners between each clean and be sure to disinfect your cleaning tools after each clean.

Use the right supplies.
Most common household disinfectants registered by the Environmental Protection Agency, as well as cleaning solutions with diluted household bleach or at least 70% alcohol, are believed to be effective against the coronavirus. Make sure nothing is expired.

Safely remove all cleaning gear.
When a clean is finished, immediately remove any protective outerwear like gowns, gloves, or masks, and dispose of them or wash accordingly. Remember to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds afterwards

We have big homes that entertain family and friends.

Our team of 31+ housekeepers, handypersons, and inspectors need from 10 am to 4 pm to:
- clean every surface inside and out (by law)
- wash all the linens, towels and dishes
- repair, enhancements and remodel
- landscape
- clean and maintain the homes with a pool and hot tub
- stage the furnishings and decor
- stock the kitchen and bathrooms with guest supplies
- inspect before and after every stay

Thinking about getting in early (early check-in) or stay later (late checkout)? You won't regret it!

We recommend you book the night before or after to have a super early check-in or check-out to enjoy another day on your vacation.

Yes, we’d love to host you as early as 2 pm check-in and/or 10 am checkout by scheduling additional local housekeepers, handypersons and inspectors to wash and dry the laundry off-site to ensure my entertainer home is cleaned, repaired, landscaped, staged, inspected and ready for you and your guests. ($75+tax each)

As of right now the guests prior to you is checking out at 10 am. The housekeepers need between 10 am - 2 pm to clean every surface inside and out to and prepare for your early check-in.

Thinking about sleeping in/snuggling, enjoying coffee or brunch with a later than a 10 am checkout?

Yes, we'd love to host your late checkout (11:30 am) by scheduling additional local housekeepers, handyperson and inspectors and finishing laundry off-site to ensure my home is cleaned, repaired, landscaped, staged, inspected and ready for our next guests' friends and family. ($75+tax each)

If you would like a SUPER EARLY CHECK-IN (prior to 2 pm) or SUPER LATE CHECK-OUT (after 11:30 am) we suggest booking the night before your check-in or the night of your check-out before another guest books. If booking the night before and/or the night after is not an option, please reach out closer to your dates (preferably day of or same day) and I may try to hire as many housekeepers that are available to accommodate.

As soon as you know, please let us know if you would like to extend your stay as you will not regret it!! Just check availability.

We are able to fulfill ONE early check-in OR ONE late check-out per changeover day due to the sheer number of hours needed to clean so we go by first reserve/book first serve.

Rent is proportionate to the number of guests. Like hotels, rent for guests covers mandatory City occupancy tax, discounted rent, linens, towels, supplies, beds, utilities, maintenance, cleaning, breakage, wear, and tear, etc.

Like hotels, since the setup, washing linens and cleaning are the same as if a guest stays a partial stay we need a maximum count of guests for your entire stay day and night. Hotels collect rent to host daytime guests with day fees, day pool passes, sell food and beverage, do not allow outside food or beverages, merchandise, and parking to help pay for the cost of day visitors. With our vacation homes save money by bringing your own food and beverages! :)

Yes, we love to host your pets and what them to enjoy the family and friends vacation too.

My El Segundo Beach Entertainer home is ideal for pets as we have two separate yards. The front yard has a beach so they can enjoy the view and all the dogs that walk by.

The enclosed backyard has a bigger area to throw the ball and they can smell the bbq.

There is a dog park nearby too in El Segundo Beach (walking distance).

The daily rent is $25+tax per day and a $75+tax hypoallergenic cleaning so guests who are allergic to pets may enjoy the home too. We provide pet beds, bowls, and toys.

Pet owners agree to not leave out dog food inside and outside and to clean the waste up immediately for sanitary reasons. My housekeeper will charge you $5 per pile fee to clean up after your dog.

I also can provide doggie (and baby) sitting for approximately $50 per day.

We want you to enjoy your best friend on your vacation! Peace of mind and they don’t have to stay in a kennel.

Our entertainer homes are ideal for pets as we have enclosed yards/areas and are close to the dog beaches and parks.

Similar to hotels, the pet hypoallergenic cleaning covers out of pocket extra cleaning costs to ensure pet allergic guests may enjoy the home too. We must clean and wash all surfaces and materials, i.e. rugs, couches, chairs, pet hair inside and out, wash nose prints off windows, power wash patios, fix wear and tear, maintenance, fleas, etc.

Similar to hotels, there is a daily pet rental rate. For sanitary reasons, pet owners must agree to not leave food out and to clean the waste immediately to avoid pests and flies and my landscaper charges $5 per pile.

I also can provide doggie (and baby) walking and sitting.
