National study of renter’s satisfaction with their cities and states
Apartment List has released results for Smyrna from the second annual Apartment List Renter Satisfaction Survey. The survey, which drew on responses from over 30,000 renters, provides insight into what states and cities must do to meet the needs of the 105 million American renters nationwide.
“Renters in Smyrna expressed overall satisfaction with their city,” says Andrew Woo, Director of Data Science at Apartment List. “However, most individual categories received below-average scores.”
Key findings in Smyrna include the following:
Urban revitalization energizes Downtown Cumberland, where former industrial areas now feature mixed-use developments bringing apartments above retail space near the Battery Atlanta complex. Residents enjoy walkable access to Braves games and the Cumberland Mall shopping center, while the Chattahoochee River trails provide natural escapes. Though events at Truist Park create periodic traffic congestion, most residential buildings include dedicated parking eliminating game-day stress. The area's continuing evolution means new restaurants and amenities regularly join established features, creating an increasingly vibrant urban environment.
