City Guide
Kingman, Arizona

The county seat of Mojave County, Kingman is often referred to as “the Heart of Historic Route 66.” Kingman offers scenic mountain views of northwest Arizona, amazing recreational opportunities, fantastic weather and very affordable living. In fact, the only “wild” thing about this western town is the insanely low apartment rental rates. 20,000 happy Kingman residents can’t be wrong, can they? Want to get your kicks on Route 66? Use our handy listings and this trusty guide to land your new Kingman apartment.

It’s a beautiful coincidence that Kingman is home to super-cheap apartments and a gateway city to Las Vegas. This means that all that money you save on rent can be used (without guilt) for weekends in the “city of sin.” But you didn’t get that idea from us. Just how cheap are these Kingman apartments? We were hoping you’d ask.

Studios, or junior one-bedroom apartments as they’re called in Kingman, range between $435-$485, while standard one-bedroom apartments range between $460-$615 and two-bedroom apartments hover between $570-$670. When it comes to amenities, standard apartment communities like Copper Ridge Apartments offer Cable TV, trash, sewer, canyon views, covered parking, BBQ grills, volleyball courts and pools.

But if it’s luxury you seek, Kingman has plenty of apartments for you, too. Communities such as Parkcrest Village feature amazing Kingman luxury apartment homes. Though they cost a bit more a month (1 BR/$615), these luxury apartments offer tenants space (776 square feet), energy efficient living, private balconies, pools, washer and dryer connections, some paid utilities, and fully equipped kitchens. Perhaps the ability to live like a king in Kingman is how this city got its name? Just a guess.

If the Mojave-inspired architecture of Kingman communities isn’t enough to sway you, then consider this: move-in specials are a dime a dozen here and rental discounts often apply. Renters in Kingman can snatch up a two-bedroom apartment for the price of a one-bedroom or skip a move-in fee altogether for simply doing their homework before signing. Be sure to inquire and shop around for the best deal. As for standard move-in fees, deposits will run between $300 up to a price equal to first month’s rent.

With a high standard for living, Kingman should definitely be on your list of places to call home. Adventure, scenic views and affordable living are at your fingertips here in Kingman…not to mention prime access to Vegas! So break out that calculator and start clicking away, your dream apartment in Kingman awaits.
