Moving to Four Corners

Moving can be a big and exciting event in a person's life. While you might want to dive in head first and just enjoy the fun of the moment, the smarter thing to do would be to plan your move strategically. The first step would be to prepare rental application for any rental homes you find in Four Corners. The point of a rental application is to give the potential landlord a good idea of both your financial situation and also of who you are as a person. The landlord will want to see if you're going to be able to pay rent for your rental apartment on time, and also if you're going to be a nice neighbor to all your other neighbors and a nice tenant for the management company to have to deal with.

In order to show all of these things, you're going to need to gather your financial documents. These documents include things like bank statements, tax returns, pay stubs, proof of employment, proof of income and copies of your ID. To give your potential landlord a good idea about how you are as a person, gather letters of reference. You should ask former landlords to write to your new potential landlord about how great of a renter you are, and you should ask your friends and colleagues to prepare letters about how awesome a person you are. You also might want to gather peoples' phone numbers in case your potential landlord wants to make a phone call and speak to references. Every landlord and their requirements are different, so make sure you call ahead in order to make sure you're bringing and arranging all of the right stuff.

If you're worried about qualifying financially, consider applying for rental apartments or rental homes with a guarantor. A guarantor is someone who is very close to you who you trust and who trusts you. They also have more money than you do. A guarantor legally guarantees your apartment financially, so that should anything ever happen to your apartment or your source of income, there will be someone who pay for money that is owed.
