Property DescriptionSpend the season in this raised two-story home in the Captains Cove boating community in Bokeelia, on the northern tip of Pine Island. Set high among the palms, the main living level feels like a tree house, and the wraparound porch is the place for slow breakfasts, afternoon reading, and sunset drinks with the Gulf breeze. Inside, the bright main level offers hardwood floors, plantation shutters, and ceiling fans throughout. The living room has plenty of seating for the whole household, and the sunny dining nook seats six. The well-equipped kitchen has granite counters, a dishwasher, a range, a microwave, and a large side-by-side refrigerator. The large primary suite has a separate sitting and office area with a pull-out sofa, which is ideal if you're working remotely or welcoming visiting family. The primary bath has an updated, fully tiled walk-in shower. The guest room has two twin beds, and with two pull-out sofas the home comfortably sleeps 8. Downstairs, a shaded patio with a porch swing leads to the kayaks, the bikes, and a hot tub for tenants. In the tropical garden, a fire pit ringed with chairs is ready for cool winter evenings. A one-car garage with a small workshop area, in-home laundry, and extra storage make a long stay easy. Boaters will love it here. The community boat ramp gives you direct access to the Gulf, and you can park your boat right at the house. Day trips by water to Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa, Boca Grande, and Useppa are an easy run from home, and the surrounding waters are known for snook, redfish, trout, and tarpon. A community pool and tennis and pickleball courts are close by. Pine Island is Old Florida at its best. There are no traffic lights and no fast-food chains, just nature trails, mangrove shorelines, locally owned restaurants, and live music nightly during the season. Available Jan 1 through April 30th, 2027. The minimum lease suggested is 3 months. No pets, please.
