City Guide for Glenn Heights, TX

Experience mobile home living in the city thanks to firefighter N.L. Moe Craddock, who incorporated the town so that his mobile home park wouldn't be taken over by the city.

Glenn Heights is a small city in the state of Texas, covering an area of 2.7 square miles. It is part of two counties, the southern side in Ellis County and the northern side in Dallas County. Glenn Heights is accessible to the more urban downtown Dallas, which is less than 20 miles away. The city was originally a mobile home park comprising 120,000 square meters with about 250 residents. When nearby DeSoto City hinted of its annexation, residents led by its pioneering politician Moe Craddock pushed for its incorporation, giving birth to Glenn Heights City in 1969. By 2010, the city's population rapidly grew to 11,279. See more

What to keep in mind when looking for studio apartments in Glenn Heights, TX

Studio apartments could offer the best of Glenn Heights living at a less expensive price tag than larger units. Look for the best buildings near entertainment, dining, and public transportation or highway access.

Ask about the square footage of studio apartments in Glenn Heights during your tour. Even a little extra space in another building can offer more room for storage or an additional chair. Consider the layout and what you can accomplish before you sign. You should have enough room for your bed, a small sitting area, and a dining table. You can always get creative and loft your bed to save on space underneath or install a fold-down table or desk that tucks away.
