Prices remain up 2.2% year-over-year. Read on to learn more about what’s been happening in the Eugene rental market and how it compares to trends throughout the nation as a whole.
The median rent in Eugene fell by 1.3% over the course of December, and has now increased by a total of 2.2% over the past 12 months. Eugene’s rent growth over the past year has has outpaced both state (-1.7%) and national (-1.3%) averages.
Twelve months into the year, rents in Eugene have risen 2.5%. This is a faster rate of growth compared to what the city was experiencing at this point last year: from January to December 2024 rents had increased 1.1%.
