Port Gardner
Port Gardner
What it’s like to live in Port Gardner
Historic waterfront character distinguishes Port Gardner, where this central Everett neighborhood combines Victorian architecture with Puget Sound views. Rental options include apartments in divided grand homes and smaller buildings from the early 20th century. The neighborhood provides walking access to both downtown amenities and the developing waterfront district with its marina and restaurants, though ferry and naval station activity creates occasional noise considerations for properties nearest the water.

Cascade View
Cascade View
What it’s like to live in Cascade View
Boeing employees discover ideal housing in Cascade View, where rental homes offer quick access to the massive manufacturing facility without surrounding yourself with fellow workers after hours. The neighborhood's elevated position provides exactly what the name promises – spectacular mountain views from many properties, particularly those on eastern streets with slightly higher elevations. Unlike downtown Everett options, you'll find streets quiet enough for actual sleep between shifts, particularly valuable for those working overnight manufacturing schedules. Many properties include covered parking – essential protection during Pacific Northwest winter months when constant moisture affects vehicle interiors beyond simple convenience considerations. The nearby Walter E. Hall Golf Course offers unexpected green space in this otherwise developed area, while Silver Lake provides weekend recreation without extensive planning or travel requirements.

What it’s like to live in Holly
Aerospace workers favor Holly neighborhood for its proximity to Boeing's massive assembly facility, where many residents walk to shifts. The area features practical mid-century homes on larger lots than newer developments, with mountain views from east-facing windows. Though limited retail means driving for groceries, the trade-off comes in quieter streets and more affordable housing than Seattle. Outdoor enthusiasts appreciate quick access to Cascade mountain trails and Puget Sound beaches within 30-minute drives.
