Country Club's name is appropriate. The town, which is a suburb of Stockton, California, is home to three clubs, the Brookside Golf and Country Club, the Stockton Golf and Country Club and the Stockton Sailing Club. In terms of a town name, that's about as straightforward as it gets!
One of Stockton's nicest suburbs is Country Club, a small area situated on the San Joaquin River. It's a beautiful place, which is probably why there are so many country clubs that are located there. Most people here commute into Stockton for work or play, but living in Country Club affords people quiet, scenic living, where they can go to escape the bustle of the city when they want.
