Neighborhoods

Park Slope has a number of different, small neighborhoods, mostly defined by which ski area you live closest to. Here's a little more info about each of them.

Deer Valley: This is one of the best and most popular ski areas and also is exciting during the summertime when there are outdoor concerts, outdoor dining at the Royal Street CafÌ© and plenty of entertainment. There are a number of small apartment complexes at the base of the mountain that make for easy walking distance around town.

North Park City: This is where many year-round residents prefer to live. It's not as close to the slopes but that means it's less touristy and there are beautiful apartments and gigantic mansions on these little, windy streets.

Park City Mountain: This area boasts the famous Crescent Burger, which the locals love. It's a great balance between getting away to the outskirts of town and living right in the thick of Deer Valley tourism.

Living in Park City

Life here is summed up by all the outdoor activities you can partake in. It's not a place that people who turn their noses up at the great outdoors will typically head to, so get ready to embrace nature. After a long hike or a day at the slopes you can enjoy a meal at the popular Legends Bar & Grill. Most of the work in town revolves around tourism and outdoor activities, unless you're commuting to nearby Salt Lake City for work. The town is super walkable if you're living near one of the resorts and there is a public transit system that can get you around with ease, as well. If you have a car, you can easily hop on I-80 to get to Salt Lake City or the airport for easy travel.
