The White Horse community got its name from a local tradition that claims George Washington rode through the area on a white horse in order to get to his first presidential inauguration in 1789.
White Horse is a census-designated place in Hamilton Township in Mercer County, New Jersey, with a population of 9,494. It sounds like a small town, but they pack a lot into three square miles! First of all, it's located right off of two major interstates: I-295 and I-195. This puts it in a prime location to get to Philadelphia, Newark and New York City in no time!
