Verified residentReview source: verified residentClayborne Flatz is a complete scam. Do NOT engage. I had to hire an attorney and will likely have to sue them for exorbitant charges. Thankfully I took video and photos (time and date stamped) at move in and move out. CF is trying to charge me 4k in damages for a 288 sq ft studio which amounts to fraud and theft. I am a university professor and rented the unit for my son. CF claimed was student friendly. It's NOT. It's basically an over 50 complex CF claims that there is no U.S. postal service for the first three months and you have to pay for a private post office box. CF property manager is rude and lied about numerous things in emails and texts. She claimed my son damage her "model unit" after one month. I went over to look and there were no damages, whatsoever. They harassed my son frequently. He moved out after two months, because in an email to me CF "informally terminated" the lease. CF emailed me that there would be "no (early termination) penalty" on 9/25/2024. Then CF charged me an early termination penalty and sent it to collection. I researched other complaints and found several - under a similar business name with the same address. Save yourself the drama, lies, and theft and rent someplace else.
